Guest instructor Whitney Hartman (MA, Biology) of Hartman Lavender Garden shares her impressive knowledge of pollinators, particularly the monarch butterfly. In this free class you’ll learn how to create a beneficial and beautiful garden or container full of plants that can feed and host a variety of pollinators.
We’ll explain Monarch ecology and behaviors, the best plants and practices, and how to attract this flagship species and other pollinators.
Participants will receive 25% off select pollinator-friendly perennials, a native Common Milkweed plug (while supplies last), educational resources from our partner, Monarch Joint Venture, to take home, and giveaways from The Xerces Society of Invertebrate Conservation.
